MBTA Ridership Insight Website

Oct. 2025
  • Developed an interactive web application analyzing MBTA ridership trends  exploring temporal patterns in Boston's transit system​

  • Built a multi-technology pipeline using Python (Matplotlib, Altair) and D3.js for visualizations, integrated into a custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript frontend

  • Created a multi-year budget tracking system in Google Sheets with automated data aggregation, with  over 4 years of financial transactions

  • Designed a hierarchical categorization structure using topics and subtopics, with formulas that automatically populate summary tables and calculate running totals for each category

  • Analyzed spending data using SQL queries to identify spending habits and generate predictions for future expenses

Big Mac Price Obesity Analysis
 

May 2024
  • Analyzed the relationship between Big Mac prices and state obesity rates, collecting data through web scraping from multiple sources

  • Built an AI machine learning model using scikit-learn to analyze the relationship between Big Mac prices and state obesity rates

  • Validated model assumptions through residual analysis and Q-Q plots, demonstrating that Big Mac prices explain 45.7% of variance in state obesity rates

  • Built an ETL pipeline that uses AI APIs to extract structured data from PDF menus and loads it into a relational database​

  • Designed an ER diagram modeling restaurants, menu items, categories, and dietary restrictions to enable complex filtering queries​

  • Implemented full-text search across menu descriptions and ingredients for efficient data retrieval and analysis
